Toledo is a city in Spain and is the capital of the province of Toledo and the autonomous community of Castile–La Mancha.
Toledo is known as the «Imperial City» for having been the main venue of the court of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, and as the «City of the Three Cultures» for the cultural influences of Christians, Muslims and Jews reflected in its history.
I was there, in such a beautiful city. With so incredible nature, with beautiful historical stories and sculptures of the old city.
It’s a paradise for lovers of these sights.
The reason why I am talking about it because we had on-arrival training there.
The purpose of on-arrival training:
The On-arrival training is a preset training from the Erasmus+ youth in action program, to prepare the volunteer for the experiences and the life in a foreign country.
They gave us all information about the necessary knowledge about the EVS.
Information about project we are working, free time, food, insurance, working hours, money etc.
They presented us the city, culture, habits, language, diversity of people and important things about Spain.
They prepare us for possible difficulties.
We had a lot of questions, shared our concerns and found our solutions together.
This training was a good opportunity to meet other volunteers, exchange experiences and we had a great time.
In the end of all of this trainings that we had done, we enjoyed the beauty of this city Toledo.
We had a great opportunity visiting city and in one hand we met everything that is awaiting us.
We were delighted with our nights in the castle, spending our days there with a magical view.
In the end it was a great honor to participate, and get to know different European volunteers, and persons in charge of our training.
I hope one day we will meet again.
Best regards my dear friends.
